Till the first week of May 2020, there have been over 2.5 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 globally leading to over 180 thousand deaths (John Hopkins University). While cases in Australia have been steadily plateauing and decreasing since the start of the travel bans, Indonesia has shown a steady rise in the number of cases with even more projected due to increased testing in the coming weeks. Even so, what’s certain is that COVID has affected all of us tremendously bringing numerous impacts to health and social well-being. Australia will start reducing restrictions next week, even so, it is not an end to COVID itself, but it will even lead to more importance to understanding preventive measures when going out.
